PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Pre-Season Workouts during Winter:
January 3 - March 2, 2012:
Indoor Erg/Weight Practice
3:15 PM to 5:00 PM — Entire Team
High School Spring Season:
March 5 -- May 19, 2012

At this point we will begin to get out on the water if the weather permits. If the weather is questionable please bring clothing for indoor and outdoor training. A decision on whether we will meet at the Hackensack River or stay at THS could come as late as 3:00 PM. You can check Coach Clemens’ website, which will show if the practice has been moved indoors.
Junior Varsity/Varsity Team:
Overpeck Preserve — Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri — 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Overpeck Preserve — Sat — 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM
Freshmen/Novice Team
(9th Graders/10th to 12th Graders rowing their first season):
Overpeck Preserve — Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri — 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Overpeck Preserve — Sat — 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM
Students are responsible to walk, bike, or drive from Teaneck High School to the boathouse at Fort Lee Road right before crossing the bridge into Leonia.. Please be on the dock, ready to row at the assigned practice time.
REQUIREMENTS
for joining the THS Crew Team
• You have to be a student of THS
• You need to pass a Swim Test (Test date to be announced)
• You need to have a physical examination
• You need to qualify through tryouts for a seat in a boat
• You need to commit to participate in all practices and

Summer and Fall Seasos:

Teaneck Rowing Club will offer summer and fall programs for youth, collegiates, and adults. For further information you may check the Teaneck Rowing Club website.
FEES
We are grateful that despite the shrinking school budget the Crew Team is still a full varsity sport at Teaneck High School. However, in order to fully meet our operating budget it will be necessary for all rowers to contribute a small fee of $80 in order to participate. In addition, all rowers who take part in the trip to the Stotesbury Cup Regatta will need to contribute $20.
